Gridlight
Coming to Steam in 2027
A minimalist roguelite played in the dark: every tile looks the same until you light it, and light costs battery.
You steer a small robot across a grid where every tile looks the same, and only your lamp shows which ones are safe. Light costs battery, every wrong step costs battery, and the clock never stops. Each run climbs a ladder of hand-built mazes that adds one new tile type per round, and between rounds you draft a perk by walking onto one of three cards.
It grew out of Golden Path, my 2021 game-jam entry.

Before Gridlight
Game jams and more than a dozen prototypes, solo or with small jam teams. A few results:
- #6 of 101 overall, and #2 for gameplay
- #77 of 1,086 overall, and #31 for game mechanics
- #1 for theme
Work with me
I also take on game prototypes and web builds on contract. One of my web builds is motoberg.hu, a website for a motorbike repair shop.
